Have 2 new IPO 500 both have the same issue, I can get phone manager to work with digital phone but can not log in with IP phones 1608 on one and 9630 on the other. Also have a 1616 with 3 expansions that seems to work when it wants all upgrades are good and unit has local power any ideas thanks

In the shortcut of the "Phone Manager" add -debug like below.

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Avaya\IP Office\Phone Manager\PhoneManager.exe" -debug

This should give you an extra button and you might see whats wrong.

Found the issue and avaya is working on it Phone Manager doesnt work when the user is set for an office worker, but works fine as a basic user.

When a user is set as office worker then it is set for One-X Portal.
This is as designed because you then reuse the phone manager license to be used for One-X Portal.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

so what do you do if you want ums and phone manager to work?

Then you need the old UMS licenses.
But why use phone manager when you can use One-X portal?
