Ipo 403 scn Call forward issues

Hello i am haveing a wired one. I have set a extention in the maine hunt group to foward all call to an extention at another site. The calls ring at the other site but alot of the time it is dead air. Some times it works fine. Any help would be accepted
The phones are 4412

Yes i know. Upgrade from 403. But not an opption at ghe time

I am trying to get incomeing calles from site a to ring at a extention at site b

I could real use some help. It all works part of the time other times is rings at site b. But when you pick up it is dead air.
Call quailty is fine when call from site a to site b. Extentions. It only seem to happen when call forward via incoming call some times.
