Hi

Here is an extract of alex
364 IP device board, minor fault
see fault locating directions for FAULT CODE 364

The alarm indicates that there has been a minor fault in the IP device board (IPLU). The specific alarm is indicated in ADD INFO 2.

ADD INFO 1: Individual pointer to device board

ADD INFO 2: Description of the type of alarm:

ADD INFO 3: Number of the faulty DSP (when ADD INFO 2 = 5)

0 = Unacceptable quality of service

2 = Jitter buffer overflow

4 = Network delay

5 = Faulty DSP

6 = Playout delay

Mainly you have a problem with you data network.
This mean that you have to investigate on the switch/routeur to implemente QoS and VLAN to give voice higher priority than now.
If hte fault remain, you have to perform a network assessement to be sure that your network is able to handle VoIP

Thanks FOUESNANT,tell me
Can this fault causes the dropping of th line when talking?

It shouldn`t cause the line to drop. I have the same alarm at one of the site connected with 128kbps link between PBXs.
There`s no QoS implemented, no VLANs and speech is working fine - no call drops. "fouesnant" is right about posible network problems so check the traffic load and other things related to it.

Is there a way to change the threshold before IPLU raises this alarm?
