Hello to all!

I have one question. We(my company) wants to buy IPLU board for connecting remote users. I want users to use analog phones. On the other side(over the network) we have Quintum ATA(Quintum AFG200, with H.323) and Cisco ATA 186(with H.323 firmware). Is it possible to use that equipment with IPLU board?

And when I initiate IP extension, do I have to use GEDII and IPEXI commands?? In ATA devices I enter IP address of IPLU board, username(dir) and password(passw) from IPEXI command? Is that the correct process??

My exchange is TSW-SP02, and I already use one IPLU board, only for trunking.

Thanks for any responses in advance!!

The IPLU used for trunking can not be used for IP extension and vice-versa.
To iniciate IP extensions you need GESPI, GEDII and IPEXI commands.
Aastra uses DRG22i instead of the products you mention but I don't know if these products (quintum & cisco) can be used or not

Only Ericsson/Aastra Approved extensions will be able to connect via H323. In case of Cisco ATA 186, I believe there is patch, better ask this through you local provider.
