Hi all
Have a client with a system ipLDK-100 Office UK90P-3.8Ea AUG/10
Problem is when ext 0 or 100 is dialled internally only 3 beeps are heard and on the extension dialling and ext 100 does not ring (The name display is shown on on the extension dialling 100 and does not disconnect.

In all my years I have not seen this and was hoping some one else had.
Any help appreciated

Carl

Hi doktor
I'm not sure exactly when the fault started but it was not there before. They reported it Friday and yes they do have VMIB set up on all extensions.
They do love to play with their phones.
Camp-on? I remember seeing the soft buttons on the 7024 but have never used it personally,

Regards
Carl

x100 hasn't got a (P) in brackets on the display has it?

Trans/PGM 12 and then either 1,2 or 3 (Can't remember) to change the ring mode to Telephone, Privacy or Handsfree. You need Telephone.

Ok, Press Trans *#..... TRANS/PGM..... the transfer key?.......sigh!

Hi eats4treats
Spot on, that's exactly what they had done.

When questioned, how did that happen, it wasn't me. Well here's the bill anyway.
Never used that option could not see why anyone would, telephones in business are meant to be answered.

Thanks for the help, star given

Hi Carl

They probably answered a call, hung up before transferring by mistake, then dialled trans/pgm 12+1/2/3

We have a similar thing happen here. We have mobile phone number range 021xxxxxx.

Unfortunately if someone picks up the phone and dials TRANS/PGM 021700716, they change the COS for extns 700-716 to ICM only.

Great fun if you're not aware of the codes

The handset may be set for handsfree or privacy answer... This is used with internal (ICM calls) Check 100s display - is there a (T) after the extn number....... It may have a (H) or (P)....... To change this Press Trans/PGM 1, 3 then dial 2 for T... which is Tone ring.

Regards
Steve
