IPLDK 20 Voice Mail Problem

Hello,
We have our VMIB voice mail card installed and showing as slot 7 and voicemail enabled for our stations

When we go to 554 1,# to set up the same on a atation we get 'access denied'

Does anyone know why ?

Are you using PC Admin? VMIB access needs to be set on PGM113.

Yes we are and we have set access on PGM 113

Also check PGM 101 and 103 to see if the VMIB exist there...

We do not have PGM 101

However in PGM 103 we have our VMIBE card in slot 7

It also is logically allocated to the VMIB slot

Would having the auto attendant assignment on the same extension have any effect ?

Problem solved !

It appears that you have to set your own voice message or the system does not activate.

Not mentioned in the 658 page programming manual!!!
