Hello All

Have a customer that uses Call Park extensively, as they get busier calls are starting to be returned to the operator, so they want to play the music on hold whilst they are in a Park Position.

My Question is this.

Can this be done?
If so, What are the programming steps?

Thanks in advance

Carl

In my experience with call parking (Call parking is a form of Exlusive Hold), is that the MOH is played according to the line it came in on. I believe music on hold for CO lines is configured in PGM142, CO Line Attributes 2, Flex Key 6.

From an LDK-20 system, I have my music on hold on setting 3 VMIB MOH.
Programming manual for the Aria 130ip (uses LDK100 cards) says to choose these settings for you MOH
PGM142-F6 - CO Line Attributes 2 \ MOH
00: Not assigned by this field.
01: Internal Music
02~04: External Music (04=MPB, Aria-600=LMUE)
05~06(07): VMIB MOH
07(08)-11(12): SLT MOH
13: Hold Tone

Let me know how you go with that!

Well you learn some thing new every day.

Ipldk 100 is the same as iPldk 20 programming, so PMG 142 flex 6 would be the same in both systems.

What the customer failed to tell me was that the MOH was from a CD player going through MPB (04 external music MPB)
But plugged into wrong output on MPB (Red instead of Blue)

So given that information I thought that exclusive hold or call park was a different programming step from normal MOH on Hold, as it turns out they are all from prog 142 flex 6

Thanks for the help

Carl
