iPlanet LDAP Authentication

Hi all,

We are currently trying to use iPlanet LDAP to authenticate users coming in via iPlanet Web Server. I am very new to LDAP and I would appreciate it if someone can guide me on how I can accomplish this.

1) How do I set up the LDAP server to contain usernames and passwords?

2) How do then programmatically authenticate someone after that?

3) Is there a good reference that i can obtain or purchase?

I would appreciate any help I can get.

Hi, i'm in the same boat and would love to know if you've figured out / found solution to user/pass storage with ldap and solaris.
