IPK2 DTI cutting off

has anyone had a DTI U40 drop calls the customer is saying that when they are on the phones they will hear loud stattic then the circuit crashes then 2 minutes later the circuit comes back up any suggestions

If this is an IPK system, then check MB 1-8-33 for proper clock assignment. You assign the Cabinet number and slot number of the T-1 location here. Also verify there is a CLK chip on the CPU (if this worked at all it's probably there, but possibly defective). Aside from that check the usual cabling to smart jack and CSU connections. This sounds like a clocking issue.

Sorry, you did say it's an IPK-ii. Check the cabling.

That definitely sounds like a network issue.
But also make sure the DTI is at 5.04 or higher.
