iPECS Communicator on Android tablet

Has anyone tried to download iPECS communicator on an android tablet?
Recently purchased a tablet with jellybean 4.2.2 and google play is saying its not compatible with the app.
Any info or list of compatible android devices would be much appreciated.

Got some info, apparently jellybean or higher is recommended and it wont work with 3.0. Not making much sense as the tablet suggested above meets that spec.
