Hello

And Help!

I have a new windows 8 laptop and can not log onto a 'https' ipecs. I have installed the certificate onto the laptop and checked and there is no KB266xxxx update to uninstall. I believe this site hasn't had the certificate uploaded to the ipecs either. TLS is unticked.

I have tried IE,Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Opera, Maxthon explorers.

Any help or guidance would be greatly received.

KB2661245 should be uninstalled (reboot your computer once done) + in internet options, select TLS 1.1 instead of 1.0 (restart browser once done)
Hope this helps

Hi

Yeah I checked that KB2661245 was not installed and I know about the TLS. I managed to source a customers machine to log onto the IPECS and install the certificate and once the ipecs restarted I could log on via my Windows8 laptop.

There must be another KB security update that is blocking access only on windows8 machines. Ive logged with support and I believe they will be speaking to LG.

Unless anyone one else has found the KB update on Windows8????

Cheers

no problems here with Windows 8 and IE 10 (the system has the
certificate installed)...

Yeah I can get on, once the web certificates have been installed on the system. Ive managed to rescue an old laptop to use for these older versions without web certs on.

Cheers
