IPECS 50B & GDC-400H

Hi All,

Hope you are well, i am trying to get a good wireless handset for floor staff at the moment and the GDC-400(and 450?) are appearing in searches.

I have been dealing with the company in the uk who supplied us the system and a bit of training and they have said this phone is not compatible ?? Does anyone know if it is and what configuration is required ?

No idea what bases or software you are using but basically a GDC-400, GDC-450 and GDC-500
is running with a MFIM50B and still compatible. I use all three types in my office with a 50B.

I recommend a GDC-500 and maybe a GDC-450 but I am no friend of a GDC-400
(which is still phased out)

I have the option to buy 2x GDC-450 for relatively cheap, the GDC-500 to cost alot more.

In terms of setup are we talking a simple plug and play ? For the GDC-450 does it have the ability to do call hold and pickup ?

call hold and pick up is working.

I assume that you still use dect phones in this system, than the setup is easy.

At the moment we use LIP-7008d and 8008d phones in the system.

Would there be any issue there ?

Than you still need one or more WTIM and base stations.
I would ask a skilled reseller to do such an installation.
