Anyone have any experience with this? I have downloaded the drivers from HP. (google: ipaq leap drivers)..

I cannot for the life of me get this installed appropriately. I am working with an Aironet 1100 and requires LEAP as the protocol, based on the facility rules.

Because it's so new, there's not much out there. I have the appropriate config on the Aironet, but I cannot get the Ipaq to authenticate via LEAP.

What NIC are you using? LEAP requires a NIC that can handle it...not just drivers with any old NIC.

I should've posted my results. I am using iPaq 5550's with integrated NIC's (they are more than capable..). Anyway, I found the drivers on the HP site that I required. There are 2 sets one for the NIC and one for WLAN (vnetusb.dll)

Anyone out there needing to connect to a Cisco WiFi or Access Point using LEAP without Cisco Nic's may have a little trouble. Drop me a line if I can help.

Good luck.

Hi

Any clues on how you did this?? I can associate with my Cisco AP, but can't authenticate with LEAP. What softpaq's do i need to have installed?

Is there any additional config needed?

Mark

I have two problems related to this.

1. When I go from the range of one access point to another, it will not pickup the new AP.

2. When set up for work (leap). I cannot connect to home wireless without cold-resetting the device (which loses all the leap settings).
