IP500

[Crossconnected]

Hello All, I have a IP Office 500 new out of the box and cannot connect I have tried by setting up my IP to 192.168.42.201 and nothing. I can see it when monitoring but when I try to upgrade it does not appear as a connected system please if someone knows what might be wrong or if I am doing something wrong your advise would be a great help!!!!

if it is new, then leave your laptop as DHCP as the IPO should give you an address.

Try both LAN ports.

When you try upgrade or get a config, what is the broadcast address you have set.

If all else fails, defualt via the DTE.

It if doens;t work after that, ring you disty tech support for confirmation it;s dead and get another one.

also make sure that your working directory is set to the correct value and you are using manager 4.0 or higher
