IP500 w/3641 with NO AVPP

Has anyone tried to get a 3641 to work on an IPO (since R6) without the use of an AVPP? KB states that the 3641 now supports WMM. My thoughts are if you have 1 3641 and an AP that supports WMM then the AVPP is not really needed since call timing shouldn't be an issue. It is definitely not needed on a CM solution w/ same setup (documented). I don't have a 3641 to play with, so.... voluteers? LOL With the 3810 gone end of sale the sales staff is all over me to find a suitable solution. Let me know what you guys think.

If all else fails, SIP clients on iphones on the local wifi network........

What is wrong with DECT?
You only talk about wifi with the two worst cases there are.

DECT is a much better solution..... wifi battery life bad, voice bad, range bad, handsets bad. but like peter says, use wifi if all other options are a no go.
