Hopefully this has not been covered...........I have searched and found similar, but not this exact scenario.
I received a new ip500 v2 r9 control unit with the SD card. I installed Office Manager 9.0 on local PC to administer. I can connect to the IP Office through Office Manager with no problem.
My issue starts when I register IP phone(s) to the unit. 4610SW IP phones register, but indicate No License Available. When I check the licenses in manager it show 1 license that is the Avaya IP Endpoints, it has a quantity of 12 and shows to be valid. The control unit had a good VCM card, which I believe is providing the Endpoint license.
The system shows an error that Essentials Edition is not licensed. Is this required???
I use this system for testing Avaya IP phones ONLY. It is not in production and has no requirements for outside lines, voicemail, etc....
I guess I'm just looking for the minimum requirements to accomplish this.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I don't mind coming to work, but that eight hour wait to go home is a bitch.
