IP500 V2 embedded voicemail storage full

I have an IP500V2 giving me an alert in System Status that the embedded voicemail "current state: storage full".
I have a mailbox on a huntgroup receiving messages and have "forwarding" to an email address set, therefore no messages are supposed to be stored on the embedded card.

How come this issue?

I would take out the SD card and format it and recreate it. you will need to re-create the greetings for users and other mail boxes. it people cant be bothered deleting messages, tough Or maybe the card has gone "read only"

on your configuration of voicemail to email, make sure it is set to forward instead of copy.

Wonder what PCS level the SD is at. The ones with the gray little lock bar are nothing but trouble.
