we just inherited a site running 4.2(14) with ( 15 ) or so 5600 ip phones and able call inbound to all phones without issue.
the issue is with just 3 phones in that they are unable to dial out as I see " Incompatible Dest " pop up across the screen when the last digit is completed .
checked and the phones all have the same " user right " as others and from a trace I can see just the " name " of the 3 users in question is sent and not the DID number as I do see for other users that are able to complete calls. ( I think this is where the trouble lies? )
in the Incoming Call Route I see the full number as this is what should be sent as well on " outbound " calls.
......all the phones follow the same short code / LCR routing logic.
