Good morning all,

I am having an issue where I have 2 1616 handsets logged on and they can call each other but can not call the internal voicemail by pressing messages and listen or *17. Also they can not call the POT I have attached

But on the analog handset I can call voicemail and when I call the 1616 it goes to there voicemail but does not give them the indication the message is there, oh and thye cant pick it up anyway.

Any assistance much appreciated this is my first 1 I have set up

How many VCM channels do you have?

just the default 4 I think, Im not back into the office till tomorrow.

Need more detail.

System firmware.
Whats happens when you try and call the voicemail/pots phone.

"There's a dog in the New Zealand section

4.1 if I remember rightly

*17 gets engaged and messages, Listen gets "not compatible"

If a POT calls the 1616 it goes to the 1616 voicemail. If the 1616 calls the POT it gets engaged or not compatible.

Your assistance is much appreciated

1616 handsets dont work on 4.1

4.1 does not supprt the 1616

You need to be on 4.2.11 at least
