What am i doing wrong!
I cannot connect using manager when i am plugged directly into LAN2 but everything is fine when plugged into LAN1. The system is using the default IP Address?

Do i need to do anything for LAN1 to communicate with LAN2?

Should not be a problem.
Give your PC a static IP Address for LAN 2 if you want to use that, like 192.168.43.111, subnet 255.255.255.0.
If you have a static IP Addres 192.168.42.111 and subnet 255.255.0.0 then it should work if you select in the Manager under Preferences the IP address 192.168.43.1.

That works fine using those address but if i use:

LAN1 10.1.1.125 / 255.255.255.0
LAN2 10.1.1.126 / 255.255.255.0

I cannot connect using LAN2 if this because LAN2 needs to be on aanother subnet ie 10.1.2.126

My IP skills are been tested!

You are correct. You cannot have both LAN1 and LAN2 on the same subnet. What would be the point of that?
