IP406V2 IVR Ports Disconnect Issue

I have an IP406v2 with a Phone 8 of which I am using eight of those ports as IVR. There is an external system dialing out through the 8 IVR ports in the Phone 8. What is happening is the external device will make a call and try to disconnect, but it seems to be acting as a flash hook, puts the call on hold and draws secondary dialtone to make another call. I have adjusted the disconnect time on the IVR ports to zero and it does seem to have helped. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should try next?

Thanks

Is this a doc office with an outbound appointment confirmation system? Or something like it? If so, I would not set to IVR ports but leave as standard telephone. Need...more...info...

Change the flash hook settings on the analog extensions in Manager.
If you have the US locale then a hookflash maybe up to 1 second, so if your IVR think a call is disconnected by releasing the line for 500 mSec ( Valid in the EU ) the IPO considers it as a transfer attempt.
You can look in the help file of the manager to
find the hookflash length for your locale.

make sure under each users telephony tab that Offhook Station is Not selected.

There is a setting under the extension field for IVR port.

Try that.

Basically it makes disconnect clear active on that ext just like disconnect clear works on alog trunks.

When i use an alog ext to test an alog trunk port by back to backing it they do not clear down properly. If is et it to IVR port they do.

Try that.

The other system is a reverse 911 unit. I have the extension ports set as IVR. Specifics are: Use System Defaults, Hook Persistency=100ms, Disconnect Pulse Width=0ms. There was a suggestion earlier to change back to standard telephone. Should I try that? Thanks.
