Hello,

I have an Avaya IP406V2 running software version 5.0. I have 4 phones and they are all part of one hunt group. I would like to set it up so that when someone calls in, it rings all the phones in the hunt group 5 times (it already does this and works fine), if nobody answers any of the phones after 5 rings, i would like a message to play saying "you have reached .... if you know you parties extension please dial it now, for a directory dial 7 and for the general mailbox dial 0." I am having trouble figuring out how to configure the software to get that message to play if nobody answers the phone. Any help would be appreciated.

You will need embedded voicemail or voicemail pro for this.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

tlpeter, thanks for the response. I failed to mention that I am using an embedded voicemail card.

With embedded you need to overflow the original group to another group that has (1) user forwarded to the auto-attendant. Sound confusing? It's actually not that bad and if you look at the FAQ's there is a step-by-step to assist.

Thanks Telecomboy, it worked like a charm.
