IP406 voicemail work around - Help!

Hi Guys,

I have a system which is on 3.1(56)

Problem is, the client wants to have the facility to put the main huntgroup out of service and have a "lunch" group as the out of service fallback.

the out of service fallback is to be on night service and play the "sorry we are closed for lunch" message.

I have the main group working and the lunch group working but the voicemail message being played when diverted to lunch is the main voicemail.

I know that this is how it is supposed to work but is there a work-around without using time profiles?

any help appreciated.

Don't use voicemail on the group.
Make a module in voicemail pro and add a generic action.
Use a free format and put this in (change the group name) -> CFG:GET "Main" service_mode
Then use a variable routing action and set it to check $SAV
Add a 0 for out of service, a 1 for in service and a 2 for night service.

Now you can check the status of the group when the call comes in.
All you need to do is press the button on the phone and configure what ever you want to happen on a 0, 1 or 2.
