I've been running Network Monitor on my servers lately to try to clean up my network and have found that my IP406 is sending out a series of 10 or so broadcasts every few seconds. Are they bootp? If so, can i disable it? The Hex details have IP 406DS at the end and the Frame details mentions Network Alchemy LTD and EthernetType: 0x4744 with a frame length of 46 if that's helpful at all. It's not a big deal, i'm just on a war against broadcasts waisting LAN bandwidth. Thanks in advance for any advice,

Scott

Maybe that is the IPO sending BLF updates for PM and soft console etc.

What port are they on?

ACA - IP Office Implement
ACS - IP Office Implement
ACE - IP Office Implement
ACI - IP Office Implement

That's kind of an odd thing, it doesn't mention any port.

In manager, look at everything in the system field, make sure none of the addresses (ie. tftp server, license server, time server, etc) are not set with a prodcast address.

That was the first thing I checked. they are all specific addresses.
