Greetings,

We've just rented an office "next" door to our main. I need to put 15 phones in there. Wiring it to the existing network is not really practical, so I'm thinking of just putting an IP400DS there, and running a single cable back to the main IP406. Will that work?
The distance would be around 100 feet.

Opinions?

Much appreciated.

I would not advise IP Phones with analog lines, if you're lucky there will be no problem but in the most cases i have seen with IP Phones and analog lines there was some kind of echo problem because of impedance mismatch with the alog line.
Put a proper cable and use digital/analog phones, that will always work the best.
