IP406 Adding Digital Station DCPx16 V2

I've added a 16 Port Digital Station. It shows up in the Office R5 Manager as Expansion Module 3.
When I plug a handset into it it just says "Please Wait"
The version of this Station is 4.1(31) while my other two stations are both 6.0 (14) so I suspect I need to update the firmware?
I haven't touched this phone system in 6 years, I have no idea how to update the firmware on the Digital Station, or if that's even the problem.
Could someone please point me in the right direction?

File > Advanced > Upgrade...

Oh geese, thanks Okkie, one question. I can't risk bricking this system right now. Should I do everything? It looks like it's only giving me the option for the latest. Idealy I would just like to bring the last unit up to 6.0

file > change working directory.

then on the bin file. direct to the 6.0.14 bin file for the digital module.

read 6.0.14 as 4.0.14 as that is the IP Office release.
I don't think you can find it anywere if you don't have it, the version 4.1(31) you mention is IP Office 2.1 release and it will not work on a 4.0 release as you have noticed.
The best you can do is download the [link ftp://ftp.avaya.com/incoming/Up1cku9/SoftwarePub/4_1GA_Builds/ADMIN/ADMIN4_1_15.exe]IP Office 4.1 admin software[/url] and upgrade the whole system to R4.1 to get it all in one line.

And read all the Tech Bulletins from 2.1(31) through to where you intend to end up. There are some stepped upgrades in there.

"Please Wait" is also a good sign that your file server may not be running.

This really is a job for your BP, but I guess your didn't buy this from one, otherwise they would be there sorting it by now!!!!
