IP403 Locked Up During Upgrade - No Response

I have an IP403 that locked up during an updgrade and now appears to be frozen. Amber and green remain lit on the ds ports and red alarm light stays lit, as well. Having no luck with the dte port. Does not recognize commands through hyperterminal. Any suggestions on what to do next?

Are you getting anything out the DTE port when you cycle power? One thing I always forget when using that port is to hit the escape key after you turn the unit on. After the escape you should be able to enter the AT commands

Also do you have all the parameters correct in hyperterminal

Bits per second: 38,400.
Data bits: 8.
Parity: None.
Stop Bits: 1.
Flow Control: None.
Settings | Emulation: TTY or VT100

I have tried the procedure you listed above. Here is what I was getting as a result:

P2 Loader 0.9 (4MB-2xLV160 Flash-120nS SDRAM-10)
CPU Revision 0x0502
AT
OK
AT-X2
0x0200C000H Erase
OK
AT-X3
0x02010000H Erase
OK

The problem is that after the AT-X3 command is accepted and after I power cycle the system it is still "locked up". The other interesting thing to note is that I don't have to hit escape after the initial "P2 Loader 0.9 (4MB-2xLV160 Flash-120nS SDRAM-10)
CPU Revision 0x0502" message. It just hangs, but will accept commands. Even though I say it just hangs, I have tried to hit escape when I should, but still, of course, no luck. Any ideas?

Just go all the way for the AT-X, and see what happens.
