Hello

I have set up an IP trunk between two s8700s and the trunk is in service idle and the sig group is in service but when I try to place a call I get engaged tone. Can anyone help

If you are dialing extensions between locations, you will probably need to set up UDP and some AAR.

Can you post the trace?

Maybe we'll see something...

Thanks,
CJH

Try busying out the signaling channel on both sides and re-engaging.

Also your signaling group should be CLAN to CLAN (sounds like you've got that correct, just figured I'd mention it).

Also are you network regions setup properly?
