Hi,

I have Medpro and Clan in my port network with S8720 server. But im not using IP phones, instead I used digital and analog phones. It would still be possible to have Ip trunking from my remote site with s8700 server as well? So that I could dial 4 digit ext.

Thanks a lot,

Rhyan

Yes,
But you will need IP trunk licences in the ACM (s).
Also ensure that Uniform dialplan and AAR is turned on in system features.

What version of CM do you have. If you have 4 for instance, you wont need deparate licenses.

True,
Also check that Centralised Voicemail feature flag is off. If it is on it will prevent you using some digit lenghts in the udp table.
If unsure, attempt to set up a udp entry with the digts string you want to use, if the Centralised Voicemail feature is turned on and clashes you will get a warning message. You will need access to the RFA record to turn it off.
Caught me out a couple of times that one. :)
