Hello,

I have two systems that I am trying to connect with IP trunks. I have an older definity (rel 3), and a G350, CM 4.0. I set up the trunks and sig groups on both. When I dial the definity TAC from a definity phone, i get a 2nd dial tone and I am able to successfully call to a user on the G350. When I dial the G350 TAC from a G350 phone, I get a fast busy. When I list trace this Tac, I get the following:

LIST TRACE

time data

14:13:33 Calling party station 3677 cid 0x1e9
14:13:33 Calling Number & Name 3677 Joseph Smidow
14:13:33 dial 801
14:13:33 term trunk-group 1 cid 0x1e9
14:13:33 dial 801
14:13:33 seize trunk-group 1 member 3 cid 0x1e9
14:13:33 Calling Number & Name NO-CPNumber NO-CPName
14:13:33 Setup digits
14:13:33 Calling Number & Name NO-CPNumber Joseph Smidow
14:13:33 denial event 1190: No circ/chan avail D1=0x95f D2=0x6b0122
14:13:33 idle trunk-group 1 member 3 cid 0x1e9

Now, I'm thinking it might a medpro or clan problem on the G350 but I'm not certain. I say this because it wont let me put either in the sig group Local End setting. But in fact, I dont know where the Clan or Madpro are located on a G350?? Can anyone steer me straight?

Thanks,

Joe S.

Seems like I got a similar error when the station making the call didn't have the COR or COS it needed to use the trunk.

G350 dosn't have a C-LAN or MED-PRO as such.
set up your H.323 sig group with the near-end node-name as the local procr, and the far end with whatever name you have assigned it in ch node-names ip.

Speak softly and carry a big switch

Thanks. I got it working by starting over. I removed and then added the signaling group and trunk group in both systems. It now works. I dont know what the change was. Thanks for the help.

Joe
