I'm trying to connect IPOffice to CM with IP trunk. Connections from IPOffice to CM works fine, i can dial extensions on CM from IPOffice. But I need to do another thing. I need to be able to redirect CM incoming numbers to IP Office. I defined this number on ARS analysis screen, wchich directs to IP trunk 2. However I get this message:

list trace tac 702 Page 1

LIST TRACE

time data

13:46:04 dial 0868726656 route:ARS
13:46:04 term trunk-group 2 cid 0x1b4
13:46:04 dial 0868726656 route:ARS
13:46:04 route-pattern 3 preference 1 cid 0x1b4
13:46:04 seize trunk-group 2 member 1 cid 0x1b4
13:46:04 Calling Number & Name 478 AAA
13:46:06 denial event 1166: Unassigned number D1=0x944 D2=0x50f01
13:46:06 idle trunk-group 2 member 1 cid 0x1b4
13:46:10 idle station 478 cid 0x1b4

On IPOffice I get:

20242195mS CMTARGET: 0.48.1 75 H323TrunkEP: LOOKUP CALL ROUTE: type=0 called_party=868726656 sub= calling=0478 dir=out complete=1 ses=0

20242196mS CMTARGET: 0.48.1 75 H323TrunkEP: TARGET: Not in dial plan

Seems like IP Office doesn't see incoming number. Hovewer on icoming call route I defined destination: extension 201.
Can't find the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

The CM is sending 0478 and not 478 so it does not see it.
Go to the H.323 trunk and add a shortcode like this:
0XXX
dial
XXX
line id 0

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

It didn't help. I think short codes are for dialing numbers, not for CLID (478). But i can be wrong.

Sorry, you are right.
I mixed them up.
The number you are dialing, is that an external number?
This number should be routed by shortcodes so this number should be routed to ARS and there must be a match somewhere.
A H.323 trunk does not use the incoming call route so check your shortcodes or use a shortcode in your H.323 trunk

N
dial
N
Line ID ARS

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

I am dialing number 868726656 from my CM phone. But the same should work if it is external number. I'm just trying with this number.
But what i found. I added:
N
dial
N
Line ID ARS

In ARS I added:

868726656
dial
201 or 851
line 0

And IPOffice extension 201 doesn't ring. CM 201 extension rings instead. If I change to 851 extension, which is not on CM, only on IPOffice, I get:

I'm not exacly sure how to route incoming IP calls to internal extensions on IPOffice. Cause short codes are sending these numbers to line 0.

why are you sending such a long number?
just use a prefix and the number.
then remove the prefix with a shortcode when it hits the ipo.

This call is looping back down the H.323 line.

Why? Because you are using ARS..

As tlpeter has said, you need to use line shortcodes to correctly route the call

so line shortcode on H323 line

To be honest, I'd do the number manipulation off the CM and present the 3 or 4 digit extension number direct to the IPO, but you can do it this way i.e. send 9 digit and route in IPO(

I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

Matt is right do the digit conversion on the CM that how i have ours and we dont need to do anything on the IPO. as long at the digits from CM match ext/shortcode/group on the IPO they route fine.

This worked, thanks. Then i'm going to try digit conversion.

I changed on CM:

change route-pattern 3 Page 1 of 3
Pattern Number: 3 Pattern Name: IPOffice
SCCAN? n Secure SIP? n
Grp FRL NPA Pfx Hop Toll No. Inserted DCS/ IXC
No Mrk Lmt List Del Digits QSIG

3: n user
4: n user
5: n user
6: n user

BCC VALUE TSC CA-TSC ITC BCIE Service/Feature PARM No. Numbering LAR

2: y y y y y n n rest none
3: y y y y y n n rest none
4: y y y y y n n rest none
5: y y y y y n n rest none
6: y y y y y n n rest none

And i changed on IP Office

sc - 201
feat - DialExtn
TN - 201 (or whatever)

And IPOffice is not receiving any signal.
I have also tried Change ars digit-conversion with no success. Something I am doing wrong.

This is now not working. It was working before. I don't understand. It looks simple, but something is wrong.

do a list tra tac on the CM

or a monitor trace from the IPO

I'd guess that you are passing too many digits or something other than what you expect!

Also try a list aar route-chosen <numnber cm user dials>

I get:
denial event 1220: Recovery on timer expiry D1=0x944 D2=0x66
IP Office gets nothing

do a list trace station <originating station>

also check that the trunk is up - status trunk-group xx

Trunk is up. From list tra sta same result:
denial event 1220: Recovery on timer expiry D1=0x944 D2=0x66

Stick a verify button on the CM handset

Press it and then enter the TAC and a trunk member say 001

then dial 201

see what happens!

or just set dial access = y on the relevant trunk group and then dial tac (get dialtone) and 201

Actually it was CA-TSC request set to as-needed. Now it is set to none. And i have no idea, what this thing does.
