Friends

I have a passport 8600, and have two questions:

IP subnet Zero in Passport

Does the possibility exist of using the concept IP SUBNET ZERO similar to the Cisco in the passport? where can we use the net address!!
How do I configure the passport to order the log messages for a syslog server?

Thanks

Have you ever tried the config-sys syslog host ANY.ANY.ANY.ANY

Hi

Get on to the box and use the help system. It's not unlkike Cisco. The general syntax is :

help <return> for a command list

help <command><return> for the specifics of the caommand itself.

I don't have a router here to try, but off the top of my head you can use:

show config
show ip routes
show ip circuits
show ip static

for the first four of the commands you were looking for.

Hope this helps

Sorry got an answer to another thread in by mistake....

I meant to say that subnet zero is the default on late (3.1.x and later) operating code for the 8600.

Jacobauskas,
I wrote a doc and in this doc is writing that IP SUBNET ZERO is default for Passport 3.1 and upper. I don't have one here to try but you can use the help at the CLI on the passport.
Good Luck !!!

I tried and IP snet zero dont work on my pp8000 with release 3.2.2.4
