We currently have about 60 machines that are not showing up in our collections because the subnet is not within the boundry set. In the collection they show up and neither having the client nor being assigned to the site for this reason. When you click on its properties the IP subnet is not listed as it should be. Where does SMS pull this information from. We are currently running Windows 2000.

A couple of questions :

Is the IP subnet specified in the boundries tab ? This is found under Site database, Site Hierarchy, right click on you site name and properties - the boundries tab is there.

Also have you checked the Wn_logon.log file on one of the workstations which is having the problem ? It is under the MS\SMS\Logs directory
