We are trying to login to a CLAN board and it never seems to get there, a list trace of the PC show this

12:38:55 rcv RRQ endpt 10.36.1.161:14745 switch 10.36.0.48:1719 ext
12:39:00 rcv RRQ endpt 10.36.1.161:14745 switch 10.36.0.48:1719 ext
12:39:05 rcv RRQ endpt 10.36.1.161:14745 switch 10.36.0.48:1719 ext
12:39:14 RAS TRACE COMPLETE endpt 10.36.1.161:0 ext

There IT department says nothing has changed but it seems like port 1719 isn't getting through. Anybody else seen this?

Dumb question, but do you have the station form set to IP softphone Y?

Rosie here...I'm the one trying to get this to work...
here's what I've done so far....
I can ping the PC trying to use IP Softphone from the CLAN and the PC can ping the CLAN.
I had the girl uninstall and reinstall the IP Soft PHone software.
I had someone local to the phone switch load IP Soft PHone and try logging in.
I went to site and did a VPN to my office, proving my soft phone software works...then I dropped that VPn connection, went on their LAN, created another VPN and reconnecte using my IP Soft Phone again...and again successful...THEN I came completely off of VNP, went on their LAN, tried to use my soft phone, logging onto their system as one of them and failed.
WE even swapped out the CLAN board for a newer one with the latest revision of Firmware on it...still no go. I gave my PC a Static IP, connected directly to the back of the CLAN board via a cross over cable and still couldn't get the softphone to connect.

But, before their IT people changed those printer drivers for her CITRIX connection on your PC....she had been working just fine for MONTHS!

If you can't connect via a cross over cable to the CLan then I would suspect the PC is at fault. I'm assuming that the Clan is good and accecpting other connections, of course. Try to uninstall, remove the registry files using regedit, and reinstall.

We did a reset system 4 and that worked and now the IP softphones are working.
