Running IP Softphone 5

Works fine when I log in as Telecommuter mode.

When I try Road Warrior mode, I get problems. When I try to go "off hook" on the softphone, I get a line appearance briefly, no audio, then it goes dead. Here is a trace when I try to make a call logged in as Road Warrior. (P.S. I am trying this from in the office on the same LAN as the CLAN card).

Have you tried different configs for your connection type on the main menu of the softphone? i.e. LAN vs Cable Modem vs dialup? This setting forces a codec type so perhaps your C-LAN/Medpro codec set for that network region doesn't contain the matching codec.

What codec do you use?
There is an issue with g.723 codec. try to use g.729 instead.
You have to change bandwidth setting in your softphone menu from "28800 or faster modem" to "Cable, xDSL or ISDN" or to "LAN". Remember to check if g.729 is in codec-set you use.
