I have installed IP softphone on a new pc for a user that is going to work from home. This is the 30th person we have sent home. When testing the softphone on the pc i bring up the picture of the phone and click on the reciever, then the reciever hangs up. Its acting like it has no bandwith but the pc is right on the LAN with no other aps running. And its only useing telecommuter mode (the only one we use). The pc is running Windows xp service pack 2, and ip softphone is rel 5. I have uninstalled the software and reinstalled it, i even went as far as putting ip softphone relese 4 on the pc but still the same result. Does anyone have any ideas.

thanks in advance

I'm reaching here. How did you set up the station?

IP softphone = y, mulitmedia mode = enhanced, station security code = some numbers, release button?

softphone set to yes, password is set no relese button on station, its a 6416D+.

problem resolved, COR was set wrong. Who ever set up her station set her in a cor with a frl of 3. so since i was using my cell phone to be the "at telephone number" and my cell is long distace from here.........I did a trace and found a denial event 1343, FRL to low to route. Ah well at least it was something simple.
