IP Softphone on Windows Vista

Has anyone successfully installed IP Softphone 5.2 on a machine running Vista?

We were told we have to purchase IP Softphone R6 license in order to download on VISTA

I thought I read somewhere:
R5.2 16bit application (will NOT work with Vista)
R6 64bit application (will work with Vista)

As far as I can tell R6.0 doesn't support Vista.

PC Configuration Notes

Avaya IP Softphone will not work if Internet Connection Firewall (ICF) is enabled on the Windows XP machine.
Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Millennium Edition, Windows NT, Windows 2000 Advanced Server, Windows 2000 Datacenter Server, Windows XP Server, Windows XP Advanced Server, Windows XP Datacenter Server, IBM OS/2, Apple MAC OS, Linux and UNIX are NOT supported. Any operating system that is not listed in the PC requirements above is also NOT supported.

I've ordered it and should have it early next week. I'll test and post results.
