Unplugging the phone will not deregister the phone. If you try to disable the phone, it will show disable registered. I wish it were as simple as unplugging the phone, but the ss keeps the mac of the phone registered.
Cant see why you would want to. You can reset them in software but they just reregister, or as mentioned above just delete them/unplug them. Whats the issue?
Example, User phone goes bad and you need to replace it. The phone is still registered. When adding the new phone and add the TN it will give you a duplicate TN.
Solution 1: Copy the TN to a new TN and register to the new TN. Out the old TN.
Solution 2: Out the TN. Once the TN is outed the TN can be reprogrammed and a new phone can register to the same TN once a new phone has been built.
I am looking for a way in SS command line via TPS or in the CS1K command line to accomplish this. Trust me this has happened more than once to me and it would be a useful tool.
I know that this sounds like a stupid questiion but, I just wanted to know if any one knew of a quick way of deregistering a set and so far it looks like I am asking for too much.
