Since we installed our IP sets, we've been seeing that
the vast majority of our IP sets need to re-register with the signaling server very frequently.
While the sets re-register, calls cannot be
accepted nor initiated (lasts about 20-30 seconds).

Initially, we thought that our DHCP lease time was too short, so we
increased it to 2 weeks (so the sets only need to renew their addresses after 1 week), but that hasn't seemed to resolve the issue.

Do you have any ideas as to what could be causing this behaviour?
Attached is the output of the isetshow command from Element Manager. In
In it, you can see that one set has been up for over 15 days, while the rest have been registered for only a few minutes.

Any ideas that you have to resolve this would be appreciated.
Thanks,

With many voip systems installed i never see that the DHCP lease time release the ip address of the ip sets and forcing it to do a new request. I guess that the problem is somewhere else than dchp. i suggeste to sniff the port of the ip sets that is frequently restarted.

better use in static IP i was using more than 350 phones no problems so far. try atleast one phone ans see...
