I have a problem trying to register a DBC 425.

I can only register the phone to the ELU32 if I register it to a phone which is ALREADY registered.

If I try and register it to an unassigned phone number, I can see invalidTerminalType being received in VxWorks.

I have forced a software upgrade, but whilst I can certainly ping and see the SW server, and other phones can use it - I'm not 100% confident that the phone is even doing the upgrade (even though it says that new FW available on the server!)

Can anyone assist?

Hold down C * 4 together to see the firmware, application and language file versions that have been loaded.

Press # to escape.

If the version has changed from the factory supplied files then the new files must have been loaded from your server.

You could also get your server administrator to check the access log to see which config file was loaded by the phone.
If it succeeds, a http code of '200' will be returned.
Otherwise, an error code of '400', file not found, is often returned.

TBLuk, please provide more info:

what BC version do you have?, etc...

please provide these printouts:

CADAP;
IPBOP:BPOS=ALL;
CNBIP:BRDID=114,LIM=ALL;
IPERP;

use the monotags ([tt] your printouts [/tt]) for easier reading...
