Hello All,

I have two different location in India, lets say site A and site B. Site A has Port network having IPSI, Medpro, CLAN etc. and at site B we have IP phone which is registrating to site A CLAN over WAN. My Avaya media server is at UK.

The problem is I am able to login station into IP phone at site B but whenever I called up somebody to site A there is no voice on call pick up.

Can any body has any idea what will be the issue?

The first place I would look is at your inter network region connection management screen.

display ip-network-region ###

Make sure you have a codec set mapping between the 2 network regions.

They are in the same network region. Any suggestion?

They should NOT be in the same IP network Region, if they are physically separate locations. You should define a new IP network Region for the other site, and set IP-IP direct audio to "n", this will force the phones to use the medpros at the main site, and not try and make IP-IP phone calls, which may not pass UDP audio properly

1 more thing, you will have to setup the "Ip-network-map" and define the IP's for each set, to map them to the correct IP-network-region...

This is most likely a routing issue. Turn shuffling and hairpinning off on the phones and see if you get talk path. If so then you probably are restricted routing packets between sites.

OK I have raised a CR for these changes and let you guys know the result. Thanks
