I want to install a BCM50e 3.0 at one regional office and have a couple of IP sets at a branch location. Only thing making the setup difficult is both locations are franchises and their Internet access is through the franchisee's network, which they access via a VPN. The IP phones would not use that VPN, rather they would have a VPN back to the regional office. Anyone have any suggestions?

I do have access to the regional network but not the corporate where the current VPN tunnels from both the regional and remote locations are terminated. The corporate location will not be part of the voice network, just the regional and remote offices.

As long as you can get to the BCM from the remote locations you should be OK ... unless they are blocking any of the required ports.

You'll need the following ports open:
7000
28000-28511
51000-51063
and you may need 5989

SupportDude, there is no VPN between these two sites. Each pc at each site has a VPN connection to the Corporate location. Would a VPN device (BSR222 etc.) break the software VPN connections currently in use?

But you will need to ensure multiple tunnels and you will have to put routing rules in place and also point the IP sets to the BSR's as default gateway.
