Hi,

The scenario is as below:

When we do a test by installing a 4630 ip phone at the main site, we are experiencing able to hear the distant end but the distant end unable to hear the voice transmission from the ip phone itself. We have changed the medpro and c-lan cards by having higher vintage and also upgrade the firmware of the phone. It does not help. This phone is accessing the remote site before going out to the public. My meaning is accessing the c-lan and medpro of the remote site. The reason is the main pabx software is using version 8 whereas its remote site is using version 10
pabx software.

Any idea how to solve it? Thanks

Do you have the near and far end network regions properly configured? It sounds very much like a mismatch or bad configuration on one side as it pertains to network regions.

It may be a firewall issue...also try turning off ip-shuffling on the region page. Are all your ip ranges listed on the network map?

In the future everything will work...
