Can someone remind me where to look to see the codec that the IP phones are using, I remember seeing this somewhere, but I can't recall if it was in element manager or in the PBX itself. I just want a printout to verify the codec specific 1120E/1140E phones are usings.

Thanks much.

Its in Element Manager.

Go to Resources --select IP Phones
Bottom half of screen opens up
Select IP sets and you should the IP phones that are registered, ip address, codec, firmware etc

I don't see "Resource" in Element manager, I running release 5.5, do it fall under another submenu?

I found it, In the Maintenance, I went to LD 117 and then did "STIP TermIP" that printed all the detailed inluding the codec.

Much appreciated.

Wrong Elements Manager...you are probably on a CS1000E 5.5j and this is a BCM forum...
The info should be in Elements Manager under the IP header

NCSS NCTS NCTE
