I have an Ip office sitted on an small lan at site A with an adsl connection , a remote office at site B with an adsl which is not connected to A .I would like to have a 1608 IP phone at site B connect back to the IP office at site A via natted ports on the site A modem.

what ports should I forward to the IP of the IP OFFICE?

How do you plan on securing the system after you've granted the entire World access to it?

VPN is a much better way to do this.

Kind regards

Gunnar

Is Nat traversal supported on 16XX handsets now?

it was not originally and as NAT traversal is such a flaky solution I never use it & always go the VPN route

A Maintenance contract is essential, not a Luxury.
Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

It is not but it works as a remote phone but NOT supported.
I also advise to use a VPN.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!
