IP Office with T1 and ANI

Anyone using IP Office with a T1 ( Not a PRI) and ANI.
Does it work and is there any particular setting you need to make this happen?

Any info is appreciated.

I ran into this once. Caller ID on T1 is only supported with E&M signalling. The IPO doesn't support E&M on T1 so its not possible.

Having written this, every carrier is different and maybe things have changed on IPO. It was 3 years ago I had to deal with this.

Is the T1 for DID? Can you set the T1 for loop start? There may be other options depending on what you are trying to do.

I did this once, but it was long ago and I don't remember the specifics, but I think all I did was set the T1 channels to E&M Tie and it worked.

I have done it on a definity. They send the info something like this *ANI*DNIS or *DNIS*ANI. i have always been told it this will not work on IPO. never tested because most carriers dont even offer it.
