Hi.

I have an IP Office with 7 Analog trunk ports. I have a bunch of Default Extensions from 201 - 216 which i know are matched up to the digital and analogue extension ports i have on my twoATM4 combo cards.

The question i have is, how do i log a 96XX phone into an extension that would then use those analog trunk ports to dial in and out? If i try and log in with the extensions above it says "extension in use"

If i create new extensions, it only gives me the option of creating SIP or H.323 extentions.

Any advice would be appreciated. I have never had experience with an IPO and analogue trunks before

Thanks

In your case I assume you only have anaolog trunks. So by default those are all in line group 0. When you dial 9 you grab an available trunk. The IPO is not a key system. You can force it to act like one but you are better off using it as a PBX. Read up on how call appearance buttons work.

I cant even log into a phone to do that. Yes all i have is analogue trunks but how do i create extenstions to assign to users and use the trunks?

Its ok. I figured it out. Now just need to configure call routing. Sorry to bother you all
