thanks an advance.

i just deployed an IPO v2 3 locations
main location has IPO. the 2 branches connect back thru VPN Astaro Gateway boxes

main office has WAN- xxx.xxx.128.x Local ip xx.xx.1.2
branch 2 has WAN- xxx.xxx.23.x local ip xx.xx.3.2
branch 3 has WAN xxx.xxx.131.xxx Local ip xx.xx.2.2

When placing a 4 digit call from branch 3 to branch 2 the voice is not passing thru.

when placing a 4 digit call from the main branch to either branch the voice passing thru no problem.and branches can call main office and voice passes thru no problem.

just branch to branch cant pass thru voice, it rings, you could call it just no voice.

i have changed the setting on the voip tap, no change
i believe its the vpn tunnel. but i have to prove it to the IT guy because he says its not him.

they use comcast for their data main office and branches use the comcast, they use verizon for there mpls circuit and the astaro boxes is want is routing everyting on the network for VPN tunneling.
also they currently are using a Sonicwall firewall.

any help will be usefull at this moment for i have been troubling this issue for 2 days.
thanks,

This is usually a direct media path issue. turn it off on all the trunks and see what happens. My guess is that from remote to remote there is no routing in place.

thanks, i did it earlier and it worked.
after so many changes i decide to start fresh and uncheck it and it worked.

there network is all JACKed UP!!

When you need to turn "direct media path" off then it is a routing problem.

This means the IP Office is handling the calls.
If it is turn on then the phones (if they are IP) handle it.

Do you have iplines to all IP Offices (mesh) or is there one main IP Office where the other IP Offices are connected to (star)

Both are supported from release 5.0 and higher by the way.
