OK Heeeere we go..
equipment: IP Office 500 v2 6.1(5), Voicemail Pro 6.1 (16)

Local system, no network domain,

I set outgoing SMTP with:

-Maildomain: company.com
-mail server: mail.authsmtp.com
-port number : 2525
-sender: IPVM

server requires authentication - (Checked)
-mail user name@company.com
-main password.

ok heres the problem, I am watching the traffic from the hosted outbound server interface. It shows that it is recieving an "envelope from address" which is the computer name. so it looks like this: IPVM@Voiceamil. no .com or anything,("voicemail" is the computer name) I changed the name of the computer and the error followed the computer name showing the computer name as the domain name being sent out of the IP office. I can only send the SMTP from an authorized email address and ipvm@voicemail or any email without the .com or .net ect. is not possible to be a allowable email address.
Does anyone know how to get the Voicemail to show the main domain form the voiceamail pro client and not from the PC's Computer name?

Change the sender to ipvm@company.com or make it the same as the auth name.
