I used to purchase IP Office and having to upgrade them you cannot upgrade directly to the latest level. This process is really time consuming.

I have discovered a very simple way how to do this quickly but I am not sure if I am doing the right thing!
Erasing flash from the DTE console. then create a bootp paramter in the manager application running the latest version. Following that the IPO comes up with the latest software loaded.

Can anybody inform me whether this is the best practise. It is quick for sure!

This practice does work because it pulls the appropriate BIN file from your manager folder on your PC. The down side is that it will erase all information on your IP Office. I only do this when my system has crashed and I need to recover it. It shouldn't be that time consuming to copy and paste the BIN files from the folders within the manager folder. Good luck
